TORONTO, ON (AP) — It appears the youngsters in York are starting to gel. Many have written off this team, coaching staff, and management as losers again. It may still end up that way. However, there is mid-season hope.
Trevor Roberts continues to be a leader in the locker room and has already committed to staying next year. The Labs are 18-18. The team is on a four game winning streak and have won seven of the last ten.
Roberts and John Howerton are averaging 40 points a game between them. The guards are playing well enough to keep the team in games, but better rebounding is needed from the front court.
